wombat in residence

In 2010, we decided to live permanently in/near St Marys.

We bought a block of land as a symbol of our commitment – half bush, and half paddock.

One of the things that ‘sold’ this land to us was finding a wombat burrow!

Later, when we levelled a site for our new shed, we found wombat footprints in the clay …

One day, I hope to photograph ‘our’ wombat …

  1. I hope you do manage to photograph “your” wombat one day. I found an active burrow whilst out walking the other day and some nice scats on a moss encrusted rock – of course I photographed it ๐Ÿ˜Š
