funding?

i’ve been silent for a while, mainly because we’re waiting on some important news

recently we were encouraged to apply for funding to our local council so we could make wrapped in st marys an annual event

Wrapped in St Marys 2012

after filling in the application we’ve been told by a council officer that our application has been approved in principle

hooray – this is fantastic news!

the council meeting is on monday 17 december – i can’t wait to hear what their final decision is …

people

What would any event be without the people?   Visitors, volunteers, participants … we couldn’t do without them.

Here is a selection of VIP’s, including 1 or 2 of the canine variety. There is even a photo of our ‘official’ photographer, Margit – can you find her?

The St. Marys School Association Op Shop really got into the Wrapped in St Marys event!

As well as offering a free sock with every purchase (for a sock art competition), a resident juggler was available on 3 June to demonstrate his skills.
