2 woodland jellyfish didn’t seem to mind the icy air –
a garland wasn’t worried –
and the bunting certainly had no complaints –

textile art on the power poles
What amazing talent we have in St. Marys and wider valleys area!
Thanks to Margit, we can enjoy the power pole wraps long after the event …

This wrap was made by the children, staff and parents from St. Marys Child Care –
The students in Ruth Miller’s class at St. Marys District Highschool made not 1, but 2 entries –
Ree Smith of Upper Scamander used paint, stitch and collage, as well as text, to give a wonderful depth of meaning to her artwork –
This entry, made from donated clothing and a lot of sewing, was created by the St. Marys School Association Op Shop –
Shelly Carin from Fingal made this vibrant and colourful creation –
Judy Duckett paid tribute to our local police; note the detailed quilting on the white background, and how well the wrap co-ordinates with the sign –
Stitchedupmama, with her handspun and crocheted entry, certainly wasn’t going to be left out –
Nor was Liz Rice, with 2 pole wraps, both entirely handstitched –
Or A-nonni-Mouse, whose entry celebrates Christmas all year round –
Rita Summers of St. Marys also had a go –
As did A Rustic Ragamuffin –
